Joseph Bsaibes is the Founder and Managing Partner of Bsaibes & Partners. He has more than 18 years of experience with a demonstrated history of working on commercial transactions and providing legal advice to multinational companies in various industries across different markets in Lebanon and the GCC.  

Joseph has developed a wide range of experience in corporate, banking, commercial and civil law matters with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, franchising, financial and commercial transactions. He has also handled local and international arbitrations (ICC; ICSID and adhoc) and alternative dispute resolution procedures in New York, Paris, London and Dubai. 

Joseph advised major corporations and business interests in Kuwait, Lebanon and the GCC covering a wide range of activities, banking and finance; retail; freight forwarding and transportation; food and beverage; manufacturing; construction; ad hoc joint ventures etc… He also led the “Contracts, consultations and special projects” team at the legal department of one of the most prestigious Banks in Kuwait.  

Joseph assisted several companies globally on a wide range of projects. For example, he assisted an aluminum factory in a global multimillion-dollars financing and joint venture transaction; he also assists European startups in their rounds of funding and corporate restructuring.  

Joseph has an Executive Masters in Business Administration from INSEAD business school (France); an L.L.M (French equivalent) in Banking and securitization Law from Saint-Joseph University (Beirut); an L.L.M (French equivalent) in Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Lebanese University (Beirut); and a JD (equivalent) in Lebanese law from Saint-Joseph University (Beirut). He is admitted to the Beirut Bar Association since 2006 and is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
