Dima Azar is a highly experienced lawyer with 17 years of experience in handling a wide range of litigation and arbitration cases and has a thorough exposure in the fields of banking, corporate law, civil and real estate laws, commercial law, labor law and intellectual property law.  

Dima was formerly the managing director of Azar Law offices which was established in 1965 by late Elias Azar, she represents many of Lebanon’s leading corporations and major financial institutions and Banks, as well as start-ups and emerging companies mainly in the fields of food and beverage, wine making, manufacturing facilities, banking, real estate. Dima has an extensive experience in handling complex, high value local and international disputes with a particular focus on banking and commercial litigation. 

Dima has been a leading lawyer in numerous transactions advising startups, growing companies, investor groups and high-net-worth individuals in the structuring and negotiation of all kinds of commercial transactions and family businesses restructuring and succession planning.  

Dima has an L.L.M (French equivalent) in Business Law from the University of Paris Sorbonne; an L.L.M (French equivalent) in Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Lebanese University (Beirut); and a JD (equivalent) in Lebanese law from Saint-Joseph University (Beirut). She is admitted to the Beirut Bar Association since 2006 and is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
